The Metropol hotel is situated only a few steps away from Gare du Nord overground and metro station with direct connections by bus and subway to the main city sites like the Opera, Montmartre and Notre Dame. The rooms vary in size from small to medium and are simply decorated in blue or green tones with white walls. Although this is a busy street, the rooms are quiet with double glazed windows. They are equipped with colour cable TV, direct dial phone. The bathrooms are equipped with bath or shower, hair dryers and are in good condition. Some rooms enjoy a balcony. The breakfast room is located in a separate area behind the reception. The hotel also offers the possibility for the guests to enjoy a drink in the bar area situated on the left of the entrance. This is a traditional 6-storey building in a Haussman style with iron balconies on the front of the 2nd and 5th floors.
